I unfortunately don’t know much about its origin, it was my grandmothers she had it for several years but not sure when it was acquired etc. I don’t see any markings on it. I can just feel that it’s very solid heavy and a beautiful piece. Sorry I could not be much more help. Let me know if you have any specific questions.
