Isabel Dahlia - Ball Dahlia Single Tuber

Isabel ball dahlia - single tuber, grown and cared for in my home garden using organic practices. This dahlia grew about 3 feet tall and produced lots of cool bubblegum pink blooms in my Zone 4 garden. Tubers stored well over winter. Dahlia clumps were split in the fall. Single tubers were cured and then stored in plastic wrap with a sprinkle of cinnamon to deter mold growth. Each tuber will be checked for at least one viable eye (growth point) before shipping, weather will be consulted prior to shipping as well. Inspect your dahlia tuber once you receive it. After you receive your dahlia tuber it is under your care. Store in a cool (but not freezing) area until you're ready to plant. Alternatively you can pre-sprout your dahlia tuber indoors until you're ready to plant outside. Dahlias prefer to be planted when the soil temperature is at least 60 degrees, 4-6 inches deep, laying the tuber on its side with the eye facing up. Space plants 12 inches apart. Refrain from watering until you see growth above the soil.
