Elegant Japanese Tea Set hand painted vintage Japan plates saucer cream sugar

Beautiful tea set featuring intricate Asian-inspired designs. Includes teapot, sugar bowl, and plates. Elegant gold accents enhance the design. These pieces date no later than 1940’s but may be older. This listing includes 2 plates that measure 7 1/4” across one 5 1/2” saucer a sugar bowl with lid and a creamer that i believe should gave a lid but does not. The lid only fits the sugar bowl. Each plate is hand painted and marked with the same Japanese characters on the underside. One plate has a tiny chip on the edge. Please see photos as they are intended to be part of the description.
