Cut from a very soft modal jersey, the light weight allows for a beautiful, easy drape, that, when applied to the long slim sleeves, they stack up, like what a dancer experiences in rehearsal. Further, the soft open neck and the long tie, when wrapped around the waist, mimic the look of a leotard. A casual sophistication hallmarks the adjacency. But the piece is also more. Thoughtfully designed, at the base of the neck drop, there is a tiny little hook and eye closure that can be undone and worn open to transform the top into a second layer cardigan.
