Vintage 1950s DALA Horse-5" Red-Hand Painted Kurbits-By Nils Olsson-Original Tag

My grandparents went to Sweden to visit relatives in the 1950's and they brought me back this 5" red DALA horse. It has the original gold tag on the bottom. You can enlarge the photo to read it. Swedish traditional folk art hand-painted Dala horse from Atka Dalahemslojd. This horse is in excellent condition with no chipped paint. I am in my 70's now and my grandchildren have no use for it. This is a true original and can be a true treasure for a collector. It has never been washed or restored. In Sweden the horse is a symbol of strength and endurance, and owning one is considered a sign of good luck. Smoke free home.
