...snack platter, vintage party entertaining dish A vintage wooden hostess serving tray / cheese or charcuterie party platter with inset tile featuring a black and gold pattern, a little reminiscent of an old clock face. Very 1960 / 1970s in styling, unmarked for a maker. The little slot with magnet underneath holds a cheese or butterknife in place. The current star-headed butter knife is a replacement (the original was lost) and fits well with the design, although it´s a little too narrow to cover up the magnet completely. Condition: Marks of age and use, the little knife with some staining and lots of scratches to the rounded ends. Size: ca22 3/4 inches long x 8 1/2 inches wide (57.5 x 21.5 cm) Weight: just over 1.5 kg
