Vintage Levi's orange tab jeans for women. High waisted, wedgie fit, straight leg medium blue wash with authentic fade. Notably, there are no front pockets, which creates a slimming look. Triple stitched outseams add to the lengthening effect and give them a workwear sensibility. Best guess on date code is March 1981. These are stylistically typical of that late 70s early 80s transitional time, similar to Jordache horse heads. This pair uniquely has its brown patch on the rear pocket instead of the waistband. Talon 42 zipper. Factory stamp 19. 100% cotton rigid denim. Shortened inseam with raw hems - the hems were cut off and zigzag stitched on a home machine. Original size unknown. I sadly do not have the proportions. The wedgie fit is retro perfection! Just enough in the center, with a graceful fall down the straight leg. Great condition. Gently faded all over with age patina. Whiskering in lap, knee fades and crease fades. Natural leg twist. No holes. The only fray is the raw hem. Subtle stain spatter below right knee, circled in photo. Rugged denim with lots of life left.
