No rips or odors. The leather shoulder strap is in excellent condition. No rips or peeling on the leather. The strap is adjustable, but not detachable. The edges have no rubbing or fraying. One back slip pocket. No stains, rips, or odors on the lining. The interior has two slip pockets & one zip pocket. No flaws or odors on the lining. This hobo bag was made in August 2008.
