Lucienne Offenthal was a purse maker established at 24 Rue de La Paix in 1925 in Paris, France. This exquisite bag is a one of a kind. Fully silk lined, however, there are some stains which I have pointed out in the pics. The inside also has some imperfections where the silk is pulling away from the top of the inside of the bag on both sides. Please see the top of the outside of the bag as some of the beads, although intact, are pulling away from the frame. The handle also has a small section of missing beads which I have shown. Please examine all pics before contemplating purchase. For its age, it is in good usable condition. It has always been kept in an air conditioned smoke free home.
