For its age, this bag is in absolutely incredible condition. A collector or vintage LV connoisseur’s dream. Canvas is excellent, both inside and out, and there is no smell, flaking or stickiness. Zippers, also, work perfectly. Vachetta is beautifully honeyed with expected bend and chafe, primarily on carry strap. Corners of bag are excellent. This bag is vintage, pre-1980, so there is no date code. Vintage Éclair zipper pull, which was used prior to Louis Vuitton manufacturing their own branded hardware, aids in dating this bag pre-1980.
