In 1950 the original owner’s mother used these books in her classrooms, & for daughter’s enjoyment. Her daughter, Dorinda, read them to her children. She, saved them for her grandchildren, stored them in her attic to pass on to the next generation. Let it be you! She lived an Ozzie & Harriet lifestyle (including the pearls). All meals cooked from scratch, sewed families clothes, cared for grandparents & great-grands, neighbors and friends. Dorinda, who inherited these books, comes from a generation of teachers. Took what was learned from them, went on to become a homeschool mother of 3, Sunday school teacher, & CAREGIVER … to all. Her grandson, now 17 years young, is a skilled designer & tailor. He makes reenactment costumes (to authentic specifications!!). Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
