Nice old pack, I remember these well, back in the 90's. At that time when you order your ordered your pack you had to specify three (3) sizes to tailor to your body.
1. Frame size (XL), confirmed in your pics
2. Shoulder straps size
3. Waist belt size
When you have time could you inspect and see if the shoulder straps and the waist belt are marked XL?
Most likely the whole pack is XL, but it would be good to know.

Thank you. Believe it or not, I just remembered another detail shown in your latest pic. The 14 degrees refers to the angle of the waist belt! They made specific angled waist belts for male and female. Pretty sure 14 degrees is a male waist belt. Female belt would have a slightly increased angle.
