marigold1959 @propick2018 lol they are sterling plated on base metal what do you think the weight is comprised of? Weighted Sterling is another word for sterling plated. I have these candlesticks in the larger version and then I have the solid sterling ones I was just trying to see if these were solid sterling and they are plated with Sterling. propick2018 @marigold1959 On weighted sterling, you remove the weighted material and sale the silver for scrap value. This is not the same as silverplate.
