Can I ask, what are those marks?

@mskhim26 Wish I could say with 100% certainty. It’s not grease. I think it’s dirt from rubbing up against something, because it lightened up when I gently brushed it with a dry soft bristle toothbrush. The marks on the “G” are almost gone. I’ve added an “after” photo for reference.
