Book: Vegetable Gardening by Sunset Books, Vintage

Paperback, 72 pages, illustrated, published 1965. Good vintage condition. Cover shows cosmetic flaws, some wear and creases (see pics). A previous owner stamped their name inside the front cover as well, but the binding is tight and all pages are intact. This'll give you info on seeds, transplants, borders, containers, herbs, freezing techniques, and on and on. Lots of good stuff here--a comprehensive and well-illustrated resource for kitchen gardeners--charts and diagrams up the wazoo--and tbqh I love the font so very much. (Graphic design was damn cool in the before-before time!) I've had this copy since I don't know when, but my gardening fantasies have never quite worked out. If this copy gathers any more dust on my shelf I think either it (or I) will turn into a pumpkin. Time to hand it down to someone who might actually use it. 🎃
