Fabulous nomadic statement ring! This is an old ring that is made from mixed metals and it has a dark soft gold coloring to it. It is set with a faceted pink jewel that has been aged by the desert sand. The band has a lined pattern. Great old ring to wear on it's own or stack with more Afghan rings! Please keep in mind that most Kuchi and Turkoman / Turkmen / Turkomen items are old and used items with a distinct aged patina. They are a nomadic Afghan people who have created amazing jewelry for centuries. Their colorful jewelry combines new, old, metal, beads, coins, stones and fabric. Many pieces are worn due to being used from every day wear, tribal celebrations, belly dance and wedding uses. They are made with a coin-base metal alloy.
