Antique Bamboo Slat Fishing Basket Japanese Late 1800s? Vintage. Used for fishing, most likely. Sewing basket, picnic basket, storing basket. It's hard to date, but I'm seeing the early 19th century to 1880 for similar pieces. The condition of the wood is very good, the handles are missing some wrap and the closures are missing a pin and the hooks.
