Here is such a great collector's item, a light amber, crackle glass, fish wine bottle with green eyes, designed to stand horizontally. Unfortunately, the main label is no longer present, but a quick Internet search will tell you that this was an Orvieto White wine bottle from the 1960s, exported by Nello Gori. The original label indicated that it held 1 pint 8 fl. oz. (total around 27 fl. oz.). The cork is no longer present. The bottle is in perfect shape except for a small chip on the mouth interior, shown in photo 12, so please review carefully. The importer label is still present, and reads "Imported by Wellington Importers, Ltd. Long Island City, N.Y. USA". Looks really pretty when lit by natural light, as well as fairy lights in this case!

Photo 12, the one flaw being a small chip inside the mouth
Photo 13, shown unlit/not in sunlight (looks really pretty in sunlight!)
Photos 14-15, loose measurements
Photo 16, the only mention of this product/bottle I could find which came from a full-page ad for "DeFalco's Food Giant" which appeared in the Nov. 21, 1968, issue of Peninsula News/The Sentinel of Pacific Beach, CA, on page 3. You can see the price in 1968 was $5.99, which is around $56 in 2025.
