"The Trail of the Sandhill Stag" by Ernest Seton-Thompson published in 1901 by Charles Scribner's Sons in New York, is an illustrated outdoor and nature-themed novel. The hardcover book features 6 full page illustrations by the author himself and many additional illustrations. This collectible book offers a glimpse into the literary world of the early 1900s. There is wear and some water damage which worsens as you get to the end. Please note this as you look at the photos. My husband said that I should just trash this book. But I believe there is a home for every book and this one has survived 124 years. I won't be the end of it, but I'm not a collector of books. I hope someone who is would like this one.

Ohhh! I read every page you photographed Mechelle, and it's a beautiful story!! I too think every book should have a home! But my sister has a genetic type mold allergy and the slightest spore... It looks like the scattered tiny spots on pages are mold. If so and you want to make an offer this book to the other interested party, she should know there are techniques online for that. I've read about EC3 mold solution, for instance. Just a thought! : )
