This item is an original Kliban plush cat pillow that was issued in the 1980s. This whimsical stuffed pillow was based on Bernard Kliban‘s iconic cat illustrations, which gained popularity through his books and merchandise. It holds a unique place in pop culture. Dimensions are height 14”x width 12”. Thickness is about 3”. I have freshly hand washed this item, and I recommend only hand washing. Fabric is muslin cotton, and the fabric is in excellent condition. The colors are bright with no discoloration or stains. I can feel the stuffing inside is foam pieces, not a sheet of stuffing.
