From Wales comes this magnificent, incredibly long, vintage woven wool school scarf in brilliant red, blue, and yellow with the University of Wales crest and its motto in Welsh, "Goreu Awen Gwirionedd" ("The Best Inspiration is Truth"). Back side is alternating green and red stripes with the motto of Aberystwyth University's motto in Welsh, "Nib Bid, Bid Heb Wybodaeth" (A world without knowledge is no world at all"). Woven in England of pure wool. Condition: A couple of small holes on the Aberystwith (red and green) side (see photo). The University of Wales side appears to be intact.
