1940's RED OP ART dress jackie hill juniors S petite 40's

Oh, I love this dress SO much, but it's just not built for me! :( You can't really tell in the pictures, but this is way too short in the body for me. This is best for a petite. Red and ivory, a mystery weave, but probably rayon (MAYBE a super-soft cotton). The print is so great, gives it an op-art look! A dozen lil' functional buttons down the front of the bodice, and unpainted side metal zip closure. Right side slash pocket (picture 8). Great condition! Fits like a S, but again, best for a petite. Please compare the measurements below with a dress you have at home that fits well. The sweater in picture 5 is listed separately.
