Blue Mountain Pottery Standing Bear

-Available is a hard to find standing bear figurine from Blue Mountain Pottery. -Unsigned. -Molded red ware. This shows the traditional glossy blue-green drip glaze over dark brown. Inside is glazed. -Measures 9 1/2” tall and 4 1/4” across at the widest point. The base is 3 3/4” by 4”. -Good used condition. No chips or cracks. Crazing is present; oddly enough, I can only see it in the blue-green portion of the glaze. -Blue Mountain Pottery was a well known business in Collingwood, Ontario, Canada. It originally was started to generate extra revenue for the Blue Mountain Ski Resort. The pottery became quite successful in Canada and then internationally.
