Set of three fabric dolls with floral patterns. Each doll features unique colors and designs. These 1998 Poupee Millet vintage and rare dolls are all signed by Serge (the artist). Rare collector's items that feature a half apple on the head, a floral hat with a lady bug, and a brightly colored floral hat with beautiful matching/color fabrics. These dolls measure about 8 inches toes to head. The dolls are like new, there are no blemishes, cracks, rips, etc... purchased and owned by one person from a pet free and smoke free home. They have only and always been displayed in a breakfront. In 1983 the “Poupee Millet” studio opened in Paris, France with two artists: Serge Chichportich, born in Paris, France, and Pablo Pares, born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Of the two original artists, Serge is the only one still creating the original Poupee Millet. Each piece is truly a work of art – individually handcrafted and hand sewn and filled with millet, featuring fanciful headdresses and a myriad of exotic fabrics. Cross posted.
