This item is a vintage pair of WEN HING CERAMICS Asian elephant bookends / ashtrays from the 1970's/1980's. It is a glazed ceramic in a multitude of complementary colors - brown, yellow, red, white & blue. Historically, the elephant's trunk tucked down represents the storing of luck & energy. The ashtray features 4 grooves on top. Made in Taiwan. Measurements of each: Height: 8.25 in Length: 7.75 in Width: 3.25 in Weight: 2 lbs, 14 oz These measurements are Seller's best approximations. Vintage. Pre-owned & in excellent condition. Due to its age, the item no longer has the WEN HING CERAMIC sticker affixed to the bottom of the item. The only flaws observed are the 4 felt triangle pieces on the bottom are brittle due to age. No other flaws observed. Please see all photos.
