Stone has been enhanced by heating, and is Loupe clean with minimal inclusions. Stone is double refractive, dimensions are: 13.2 mm X 5.2 mm X 8.1 mm. Country of origin is Sri Lanka. Why so cheap? Will this gemstone end up in the Crown Jewels? No. Would it be used in products from high end luxury good Maisons? Also probably no. This is a “B” rated stone, mainly due to the fact that it wasn’t found in perfect condition and needed techniques to make it look better; dying or heat treatment for example. It also might not have enough facets to bring out the full beauty of the stone, or the facets may also be slightly asymmetrical and not perfect. These stones are great for jewelry, collecting, or for whatever else your heart desires.
