The canopy blocks out nearly all of the rays, plus provides UPF 50+ sun protection. The reclaimed timber pole is sturdy without being too heavy, so it travels easily in the provided carry bag. Pair it with the matching beach chair for the best-looking and most comfortable setup on the sand. May have some marks on the pole from being in a stand.
