Mid Century Modern Black Heron Crane Water Buffalo Horn Carved Sculptures Pair

Beautiful sophisticated Mid Century Modern 1960s pair of black heron crane sculptures on small wooden bases. Hand carved water buffalo horn shows the beautiful variations of color to enhance the sleek look (see photos). This set of 2 are the taller versions at approximately 18” tall. They are truly unique MCM sculptures. Minor wear and one leg has been repaired as there was a slight split. See photos for wear, leg repair (glue) and condition. Good condition for MCM vintage horn sculptures. I remember these beautiful cranes adorning my Mother’s Japanese antiques as a child. Still in amazing condition with minor flaws. Note these are the large versions at 18” tall.
