klills @rea1029 hi! Yes it is. I should’ve added in the description that the original strap has been replaced with the gold chain (generic) and D- rings added to hold the chain. The inside lining is a bit flakey but I’m going to clean it as best I can before shipping and include the purse insert! It’s a very cute little vintage Gucci bag but just needed some love!

klills @rea1029 Hi, the original strap was an extension of the “knot” to hold the ends of the bag together. So when I cut the strap off, I secured the edges of the knot with leather glue (it’s sturdy!) and added the gold D-rings you see in the picture so I could then attach the chain 😊.
