AUTHENTIC canvas money transport bag from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, dating to 1954.
My Grandfather was VP of Manhattan Savings, 1951-1968. Burlap/canvas sack bears original Red stenciled text reading THIS BAG IS PROPERTY OF AND SHOULD BE RETURNED TO FEDERAL RESERVE BANK OF NEW YORK & handling instructions PLEASE DO NOT CUT BAG WHEN OPENING.
