RARE ANITIQUE BOOK COLLECTION—Pre-Pub. Signed Books 1st Print 1st Edt 1772-1960s

SEE LIST OF BOOKS IN PICS ABOVE 1770-1960’s A special subset of this collection was inherited from my great-great-aunt, Alma Reese, a renowned book designer and editor. Alma ran the art department at Doubleday and freelanced for major New York publishers. She was responsible for cover artwork, layout, typesetting, plate design, and editorial annotations.Many of these books are unreleased pre-pub copies, some with hand-painted draft covers and handwritten spines—never seen by the public. Others contain editorial notes and corrections, offering a glimpse into the publishing process. Several were personal gifts from Alma and include handwritten notes. The subset is signed by notable figures—including Langston Hughes, Salvador Dalí, Eleanor Roosevelt, Helen Ferris, and other influential authors and artists. These are true historical collectibles, with provenance and researched market value. We also have many 1st edition, first printings (some pre-release), likely part of Alma’s publishing network, though finished copies are not included in her subset. There are “roughly” 150-200 books. I need to add even MORE. The most valuable books however are in the list above. If you truly want to buy the entire collection, Posh fees considered, I'll come up with a better figure. I'm VERY uncomfortable w/ PM "authentication" "handling" my books.I need to divide the total by $499 and sell this over multiple listings to bypass PMHQ mishandling during authentication.
