charles_lizotte @efudge My wife, a licensed Master Cosmetologist and Farouk Systems educator, purchased this tool brand new directly from the Bioprogramming (Hairbeauron) vendor booth at the Bronner Bros Hair Show in Atlanta. She never registered the product, so it should be eligible for registration under your name through Bioprogramming’s system. Even if registration isn’t completed, it’s fully functional and authentic — and most warranty services are region-specific to Japan anyway.

charles_lizotte @efudge truth is, my wife won't admit it for obvious reasons, but with Tonya a rep for Farouk and the rep for Bioprogramming from what I gather there was more than likely some exchanging of "stuff" lol and at that time she never worried about registering it. and I doubt she would have envisioned a situation like this to arise.

Instead, registration typically happens through Bioprogramming Club Japan, and: It’s optional, not required to use or enjoy the product. Registration is usually tied to email/account creation—not locked to a name or ID. For overseas buyers (like in the U.S.)

charles_lizotte @efudge the warranty is limited or non-transferable anyway, especially if the item was purchased in Japan or at an international show. So as a second-hand buyer like yourself you could create a Bioprogramming Club account and register the product in your own name, especially since the tool hasn’t already been registered. Even if it had been, you will still be able to use all features and access info, just possibly not receive warranty coverage, depending on the region and terms.
