Vintage 1950s Handmade Black Cotton and Lace Shirtwaist Dress Size Small Medium

Brand: Vintage, 1950s Size: fits like a modern small or medium (see measurements) Features: shirtwaist style dress with fitted bodice and pleated flare skirt, falls around/just below knee, short sleeve, upper bodice (arms and shoulders) feature sheer lace fabric, camp style collar, decorative black vintage buttons up bodice with thread loop and metal clasp closure at the waist, darts on bust Condition: very good vintage condition except for a few flaws in the more fragile lace fabric. There are some small snags and areas that need reinforcement with some basic stitching, the left underarm seems to have been repaired previously but could use a few additional stitches (see last four photos for more detail). Price relfects these issues.
