Rare‎ Antique Victorian to Edwardian Mens Button Chain Waistcoat Vest Coral Onyx

I can hardly find any information about these, they are supposed to be for a mens vest or waistcoat from what I can understand. They are more than likely gold filled and or gold rolled. The black one was likely a mourning piece and the red one as best as I can tell especially considering the age is likely coral, although it could be another material.
