Vintage 2002 Eldreth Pottery Salt Glazed Christmas Pie Plate / Platter Wiseman

This is commonly called a pie plate, but I don’t know how it will hold up in the oven so I suggest it be used as a serving platter. Very heavy (over 2 lbs!) earthenware salt glazed quality piece. The nicely painted surface image is described as a wise man (of Biblical lore) or St. Nicholas Santa. Very well made.
