Pretty dragonfly ready to land upon your shoulder! This is a vintage, butterfly brooch that comes from Mexico. It is a nice large piece that makes a beautiful statement. The wings are inlaid with stunning iridescent peacock shades of abalone shell. Purple, greens, etc. shimmer in the light. She has adorable antenna, silver accents body and little sterling lines of silver to accent her wings. She is signed on the back. I have not cleaned her as she has patina. But she can be polished if you prefer a shinier look. So pretty! They have a ripple pattern to them which reminds me of the waves lapping onto the sand. History: It has been used for centuries in jewelry.
