This is a 1980 U.S. first pressing of Back in Black on Atlantic SD 16018 with the iconic all-black embossed sleeve and grey/white Atlantic label. The jacket shows general ring wear, light edge rubs, and a small corner ding but the embossing is still easy to read. Vinyl grades VG on a visual check—glossy with surface hairlines; play-tested spots were free of skips or loud pops. Produced by Robert John “Mutt” Lange just months after the death of Bon Scott, the record introduced Brian Johnson and went on to sell 25× Platinum, making it one of the best-selling albums ever. Side One opens with “Hells Bells” and Side Two features the stadium classic “You Shook Me All Night Long.” Collectors prize the RL-cut lacquer (look for “MASTERDISK RL” in the dead-wax) for its punchy mix. A cornerstone for any classic-rock shelf.
