Hand Dyed Vest with Embroidered Flowers

This hand dyed yellow vest was refashioned from an original Eileen Fisher raincoat in white. It was dyed in a small batch of a mustard yellow color and the hemline was cut in a curved fashion. The sleeves were removed and large embroidered floral motifs were sewn to the front and back of the wrap vest. The wrap sash is created from a silk crepe de chine fabric that coordinates with all the earth tones. It is fully lined with silk and includes deep side pockets. I paired it with a long bronze dress, but it would look great with jeans too. Fits size S-L due to the wrap style.
