From the longest point at the top to the bottom point measures 12 inches. The top of the short side 9 to the bottom. Side to side is 8 inches. These panels are cut and glued. The wood is a little heavy but not badly. I'm sorry that I don't know what type of wood it is. Has hook on back for hanging. It's beautiful.
