caitecpm86 @newyork222 I looked it up just now and got this…14k gold contains 14 parts pure gold out of 24 parts total, meaning it's 58.3% pure gold and 41.7% other metals (alloys). These other metals, such as copper, silver, or zinc, are added to increase the strength and durability of the gold, as pure gold (24k) is very soft and not ideal for everyday wear.

caitecpm86 @newyork222 I have been wearing it everyday in the shower and pool for 5 months now and it hasn’t given me any issues. Even have a 7 month baby pulling on it and still no issues. Obviously I’m still very careful bout her grabbing on it because I don’t want it to break.
