In the Kristals Cosmetics AMETHYST Oxygen Instant Energizing Activating Serum, the key is amethyst, used for centuries on the skin to enable its rich, natural mineral complex to purify, detoxify and revitalize. It’s paired with lactic acid, an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that exfoliates to improve skin's overall texture by moisturizing, sloughing or dead surface cells and promoting collagen growth. Lactic acid reduces lines and wrinkles, helps even out skin tone and diminishes acne scars. To this, we added extracts of chamomile, lemon balm (Melissa ocinalis leaf ) and green tea (Camellia sinensis leaf ) to soothe and calm skin to aid in healing and nourishment.
