Hand Carved out of New Zealand Greenstone Taiaha Tip Pendant Tiki Talisman This Greenstone pendant is a beautiful piece of Māori jewellery. Carved from genuine Nephrite Jade. Makes a wonderful Kiwiana gift. This Māori necklace is strung on a traditional black wax cord. The height that the pendant hangs at can be adjusted using the sliding knots. A taiaha is a traditional weapon of the Māori of New Zealand; a close-quarters staff weapon made from either wood or whalebone, and used for short, sharp strikes or stabbing thrusts with efficient footwork on the part of the wielder.
