This is likely from a clock. However, it would look great on a gallery wall. The bottom of the piece measures about 14 inches wide and about 6 and 3/4 inches tall. It's missing a finial that would be easy enough to replace, so the Grecian had and other Motifs appear to be pressed or carved wood. It's craftsmanship from days gone by. So if you want to restore a clock, or just hang it on your wall as is
