-Available is a vintage hand made art pottery pitcher by Frankoma Pottery of Oklahoma. It is in the Plainsman pattern.
-Incised mold mark of FRANCOMA 26D on the bottom. The starting production date for this mold was 1969.
-The glaze is a medium blue-green and brown called Woodland Moss. Woodland Moss was in production from 1960-1974; it is a more uncommon glaze from Frankoma. Taking into consideration the mold date, this piece was made between 1969 and 1974.
-Measures 7 1/2” tall, base measures 4”in diameter, and mouth opening measures 5 1/2”. Holds one quart.
-EUC with no chips, cracks, or crazing.
-Perfect for display. Use as a vase or utensil holder. Gift for Mother’s Day, birthday, or holiday. Perfect for the art pottery collector.
-Frankoma Pottery was founded in 1934 by John Frank. Its products were made by hand from Oklahoma clay and had a mid century modern and Western vibe. The pottery closed in 2010. The molds were sold and a new shop was opened in Glenpool, Oklahoma, in 2022.
