1960s Raw Hot Pink‎ Quartz Necklace?

I don’t have too much information on this piece. It came out of a collection I purchased recently, and they figure the storage unit hadn’t been opened since the early 70s but I don’t know where this came from or what it even is really. It’s stunning, the colour vibrant, but it’s heavy as sin. Like wearing rocks lol — gorgeous though. Beautiful vintage condition.
