This lightweight beaded necklace & earring set is versatile adding a pop of color and whimsy fun to any outfit. The Naapok bead project in Ketumbeine, Tanzania provides 55 Maasai women with a small regular income who make and sell their beadwork. Each piece is done by hand with locally available glass beads, wire, and recycled plastic. This long-held beading tradition is helping alleviate extreme poverty due to drought & land restrictions that impact the Maasai's traditional nomadic herding life.
