@iamryn7 Hi! Honestly, I don't recall if these are real black spinel beads or glass beads. Chico's does use real stones in some of their pieces. I've had this necklace for ~ 2.5 years so it's no longer in my Chico's order history. However, I have 2 necklaces with real black spinel beads and when compared to the stones in this listing the shine is similar but those beads aren't as faceted as those in this necklace. Sorry that I can't be more specific. Regardless, this necklace is beautiful.
