Vintage 1930s–40s Feedsack Fabric – Blue Pitcher & Red Flower Print – 41” x 36” – Faint “Best Feed/Flour?” Stamp
Authentic vintage cotton feedsack or flour sack fabric, dating to the 1930s–1940s.
This piece features a charming print of white pitchers/jugs, each with a red flower motif, set against a cornflower blue background.
• Size: approx. 41” x 36” (full feedsack panel).
• Material: 100% cotton, medium weight typical of true feedsacks.
• Condition: Overall sturdy and usable. Fabric shows a large area of discoloration/fading where the original sack stamp (“Best Feed” or flour brand) is still faintly visible — wonderful proof of authenticity for collectors. Some light age toning present, consistent with nearly 90 years of storage.
Dating: 1930s–40s. These fabrics were originally manufactured as flour or feed sacks, later reused for quilting, clothing, and household sewing.
Perfect for:
• Vintage quilting projects
• Primitive or farmhouse décor
• Textile collecting
• Repurposed crafts or historical displays
