This is a beautifully cared for vintage domed satchel bag from Dooney & Bourke. The color is actually dark blue, which is often mistaken for black. The original manufacturer's tag is still attached to the back of the internal pocket as shown in photos, identifying it as R144 BL (BL is for dark blue). This can easily pass for black, so it makes it more versatile with color matching. This is a medium sized bag, with plenty of internal room. The leather is soft and supple - the internal and external of this bag are in great shape - as are the handles - no wear or damage.
