Vintage Late 40’s/Early 50’s Gown

Amazing Vintage Gown with Ruching, a Large, Dramatic Velvet Flower on the left hip, and a Thigh-High Slit (also on the left side). The long sleeves as well as the upper bodice & back are constructed of Double-Ply, Semi-Sheer Mesh Fabric (feels like Nylon) with a full lining below that (see last photo please). The color is a Deep Black. The sleeves have one metal snap at each cuff, and there is a Talon back zipper. The gown has some weight to it — the lining is substantial. No other tags besides the Neiman Marcus label are present, but the gown is shown on my XS/Size 2 dress form with a 34” A/B bust and it fits her perfectly. Measures 17” (max.) underarm to underarm with a 14” (max.) waist. 57” long. EUC!
